Phil McCowen
Phil McCowen is co-founder and Managing Director of EGS. He has over 25 years’ experience in leading, developing and growing successful teams and businesses in Europe and across the Middle East and India in both SME’s and divisions of Multi -National corporations with turnovers from €5m to €150m.
Phil has managed businesses through periods of rapid growth and expansion and through downturns and recession and brings real-world, hands-on experience to every project he is involved with. He is a graduate of TU Dublin, The Irish Management Institute and The Institute of Commercial Management UK with qualifications in Leadership, Management, Strategy and Sales Development.
Phil’s experience gained over the years from leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams across many sectors as well as his work as a business consultant, has helped him gain a deep insight and practical techniques in leading and growing successful businesses.
Jo McCloskey
Jo McCloskey is co-founder of EGS and has over 25 years of business and coaching experience in both a national and international context.
She began her career in the Telecoms Industry as a graduate Engineer with Esat Digifone. Jo has held various senior leadership roles as both a full-time employee and project consultant to large telecom operators in Ireland. She held responsibility for major engineering project delivery with budgets in excess of €40m, engineering process development, strategic planning, and the leadership and development of teams of 50+ engineers.
Having attained a First Class Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Michael Smurfit UCD along with a Diploma in Executive and Life Coaching, Jo successfully established her own business as a management consultant and executive coach in 2007. She has developed a successful track record in supporting a growing list of organisations and Senior Executives with organisational, team and personal development.
